A Hiring Process That Found the Right Person
“They were able to read in between the lines, which made it so much easier.”
Jenevy Sims of The Evolve Firm was impressed by the interview process. The Crükus team vetted candidates and found the person she was looking for, so she didn't have to do it on her own while running her business.
Jenevy Sims · The Evolve FirmWhy Hiring a VA Felt Low-Risk
“It's been great. We love it.”
Nate Kear of TruBlue Home Services explains why hiring a VA felt low-risk: you're hiring a service, not a U.S. employee with all the red tape, and you can stop if it doesn't work.

A great fit if you…
- Spend your evenings on email, scheduling and data entry
- Want a dedicated person, not a gig marketplace
- Have ongoing work that needs a real person's judgment
- Are ready to give a VA at least 10 hours a week
Probably not a fit if you…
- Need someone physically in your office
- Only have a one-off task of a few hours
- Aren't ready to delegate or set clear daily expectations

How does Crükus find the best qualified candidates?
We begin by understanding the client's specific needs, including the required skills, experience, and cultural fit. Crukus then taps into their extensive network in the Philippines and Latin America to source top talent.
Candidates undergo a rigorous screening process, including skill tests, English proficiency assessments, and culture fit evaluations. Crukus also conducts detailed interviews and our own set of tests. Finally, only the best-matched candidates are presented to the client, ensuring a high-quality hire.
What jobs can be outsourced to a virtual assistant?
Business owners can outsource a wide range of jobs to virtual assistants, including:
- Administrative Tasks: Scheduling, email management, data entry, and customer service.
- Social Media Management: Content creation, posting, and engagement.
- Lead Generation and Sales Support: Cold calling, prospecting, and CRM management.
- Bookkeeping: Invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Marketing Support: Email campaigns, SEO tasks, and graphic design.
- Customer Communication: Handling inquiries, appointments, and follow-ups.
- Research: Market analysis, competitor research, and data collection.

What are the minimum hours per week the virtual assistant needs to work?
Your VA must work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
What if the employee is sick or wants to take time off?
You are only required to pay for hours your virtual assistant works. However, if you would like to offer paid time off for your VA, our HR team will work with you to keep track of this benefit.
What about public holidays in the US?
It is up to you if you would like your virtual assistant to work public holidays in the US or allow them to take them off.
What is the best way to communicate with your virtual assistant?
Your VA works in your own team chat tool. If you don't have one, we'll suggest one.
How should you track your virtual assistant's activity and productivity?
Most employers establish clear "key performance indicators," or KPIs to keep a running record of their employees activity.
We also recommend that our clients require a daily "end of day" report from their VA.
What if I need to terminate my virtual assistant?
You can end your virtual assistant service with 30 days' written notice. The notice period is billed.
If you don't have an assistant, you are one.
Book a free 30-minute Zoom with Marc. We'll review what to hand off and explain the hiring process, pricing and support.
